Science in the public interest: its theory and its practice

On the 27th of April 2022, EOAR hosted Professor Emeritus Hans Radder from VU Amsterdam. During his presentation, Hans spoke about the concept of public interest science. In particular, Hans talked about issues associated with open-access publishing and provided an analysis of the Dutch National Research Agenda with the aim of determining whether either of these cases are in the public interest.
