Prof Sujatha Raman (Australian National Centre for the Public Awareness of Science, Australian National University)

 

On the 23rd of August 2023, EOAR hosted Prof Sujatha Raman from the Australian National University. During her presentation, Sujatha spoke about the ways in which the public good has been conceptualised in relation to science within various contexts. She also delved deeper into some of the framing around the public good, focusing in particular on four dominant frames including intrinsic to science, product-centred, voice-centred and need-centred frames.
