THE INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY FOR STEM CELL RESEARCH (ISSCR 2023)

On the 14th to 17th of June 2023, the EOAR team attended the International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR) 2023 Annual Meeting held in Boston. Rachel, Dan and Chi-Chi presented on the findings to date from the EOAR project as part of the ISSCR poster session. Dianne and Edi also both presented during the conference. Dianne spoke about public attitudes towards research involving human embryos and the 14-day rule in Australia while Edi's presentation focused on the challenges and ways forward for public engagement in Australian stem cell research. During the conference, Christine also co-hosted a meet-up session on computational stem cell biology.
