On the 28th of June 2022, EOAR hosted Prof Jorge Contreras from the University of Utah. During his presentation, Jorge provided a comprehensive overview of key developments in the history of the genomic commons. Jorge talked about a variety of issues relating to the genomic commons, including data sharing, patenting and privacy.
