The regulation of stem-cell based interventions in Australia: theory, practice, and new developments

On the 31st of May 2023, EOAR hosted Dr Christopher Rudge from the University of Sydney. During his presentation, Chris spoke about the various ways in which biologicals are regulated in Australia according to the level of risk that they are assigned. Chris also spoke about the potential issues that can arise when biologicals are exempted from regulation as a result of being administered in a hospital setting.
