Trustworthy health data governance and the social license for precision medicine: Outcomes from mixed methods research in Singapore (2018-2021)

On the 23rd of November 2022, EOAR hosted Asst Prof Tamra Lysaght from the National University of Singapore. During her presentation, Tamra talked about precision medicine in relation to the concepts of trustworthy governance, consent and societal acceptance of data use. She also spoke about the values associated with social license to operate, including accountability, fairness, public interest and transparency. Tamra also presented the findings of a mixed methods research project on trustworthy governance of precision medicine programmes within the Singaporean context.
