Dr Dan Santos (Australian National University) and Ms Mengqi (Chi-Chi) Hu (The University of Melbourne)

 

On the 9th of November 2022, Dan and Chi-Chi presented at a Stem Cell Conversations seminar hosted by the University of Melbourne. During his presentation, Dan spoke about the commons approach and how this can be used to enable openness in stem cell research. He also spoke about some of the key themes which have emerged from interviews with stem cell researchers. Chi-Chi then spoke about the current Australian landscape around the use of stem cell registries and banks. She also provided an overview of key legislation surrounding stem cell research in Australia.
